ARTIST BIO

Farishta Estok is a Bahraini American artist residing in Florida. She is a Florida State University graduate with a degree in Studio Art minor Psychology. She believes that one should not be confined by limited techniques and rules. She constantly expands her abilities through experimentation with oils, acrylics, plaster, fabrics, mixed media, digital/collage, different application techniques and hand poking. She adds personal experience with identity, race, permanence, subconscious mind and expectations as a woman to her works with complex shapes and installation.
